Loon Lake Conservancy

The Loon Lake Conservancy is an independent group of Loon Lake property owners organized in 2023 to observe, investigate, inform, and advise on environmental issues affecting Loon Lake. Current areas of study include fisheries management, aquatic chemical application, conservation of riparian habitat, and overall water quality.

Loon Lake is located in Plainfield Township (Hale), Iosco County, MI.

This website was created as an educational resource for Stakeholders regarding our areas of concern. We encourage active Stakeholder participation in the dialogue on these issues. This includes Loon Lake Property Owners, as well as those who fish and recreate on Loon Lake.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to inform our fellow Loon Lake Stakeholders on lake health and to work with and advise the Authorities responsible for impacting the lake.

Our #1 Goal
